Browse and Grass Farmers produce meat products free of antibiotics, artificial growth hormones or animal by-products. When you buy from our members you support environmentally friendly, sustainable agriculture, healthy, relaxed animals and the rapidly disappearing family farm.

Our small farms allow our members absolute quality control over their products. Over the past 30 years, we have seen a trend towards larger and larger farms, more confinement of animals, a higher usage of antibiotics and growth hormones, and an increased dependence on all-grain or high grain based diets. Often animals are raised in high-stress confinement facilities and are unable to breathe the fresh air, move freely in sunshine or eat the fresh green grass that is so essential for their health and for ours.

Our members raise their animlas on pasture rather than in factory feed lots with managed intensive grazing that preserves the soil, protects ground water, and recycles nutrients back into the earth. Studies show pasture-raised livestock have less stress, less e-coli bacteria, and less saturated fats than their conventional counterparts. Supporting pasture-raised animal production is a sure way to improve the environment, protect your health, and conserve the natural landscape for future generations.
